Your Light: House Meets Folk

The project “Your Light,” helmed by Lev Shteinberg, witnessed the fusion of house music with Russian folk motifs, thanks to the creative genius of Ilya Anokhin. Lev assumed the role of vocal producer, recorder, and mix master, bringing an added layer of depth to the composition. The distinctive 2bus saturation effect introduced during the mastering phase, courtesy of the Studer 962 console, underscored Lev’s commitment to imbuing uniqueness into every project.

Stormson: A Symphony of Collaboration

Among Lev“s most emotional projects was the collaboration with Stormson, a confluence of session musicians and a remarkably gifted artist. The recording process unfolded at Galernaya 20 Studio, featuring live drums, bass, and keys. Lev”s preference for vintage equipment, including Neumann microphones and the Studer 962 console, was prominently showcased. His choice of the Neumann 563 microphone, particularly, illuminated the vocal elements, a testament to his unerring ear for detail.

DK: Mastering a Viral Hit

Lev Shteinberg“s production prowess extended to the viral sensation ‘Don’t Look For Me,’ masterfully crafted by Danya, also known as DK. Lev meticulously mixed and mastered the track, using modern plugins that encapsulated the essence of a 90s Russian classic. The track”s meteoric rise, with millions of streams on Spotify and TikTok, speaks volumes about Lev’s talent in rendering hits that strike a chord with the masses.

In a world where music production is both an art and science, Lev Shteinberg emerges as a maestro who not only captures the spirit of each project but also elevates it to new heights. His ability to seamlessly blend traditional methods with contemporary techniques reveals a producer whose approach is nothing short of alchemical.
